SUMMARY:LEGO® Mini Model Workshops
DESCRIPTION:Event details\nJoin us this Easter at The Common Room\, to build your very own mini LEGO® model of some of the North East’s greatest engineering feats\, a giant beast from our fossil past\, or a rover and helicopter duo to explore the surface of Mars.  \nSuitable for ages 5+ \nModels you can build: \n– The Swing Bridge \n– Stephenson’s Rocket \n– The Electric Car \n– The Geordie Lamp \n– A wind turbine \n– The Perseverance Mars rover \n– The Ingenuity helicopter drone \nPlus our newest models: \n– The Turbinia\, fastest ship of its day \n– Arthropleura\, the ancient giant millipede \nThis ticket includes general admission to explore our historic building\, as well as our key exhibitions\, including The Neville Hall LEGO® Model\, The Mineral Wealth of the North and our Metro Memories Exhibition. \nDates \nThursday 14th and Tuesday 19th April 2022 \nWorkshop times \nWorkshop 1: 10:30 – 11:30 \nWorkshop 2: 1:00 – 2:00 \nWorkshop 3: 2:45 – 3:45 \nBooking information\nEach person attending\, including adults accompanying children\, must have their own ticket. \nTickets are free\, but if you would like to make a small donation to support the charitable work of The Common Room\, it would be hugely appreciated. As this is a free event\, models are reused by future visitors and cannot be taken home. \nIf you can no longer attend your slot\, we kindly ask that you cancel your ticket so someone else may take your place\, as demand is very high.
