Sinking and Boring Book volume containing boring accounts, mainly of George and Rawling Stott, borers, c.1830 – 1865, with some earlier accounts from 1779 The entries are for borings except where otherwise specified. Physical characteristics: Leather bound volume, 38 x 27cm marked George Stott’s Book, Ferry Hill, George and Rawling Stott, Mineral Borers on flyleaf, contemporary and later place indexes at the front.
